        圣经是神的话语,迄今已经被翻译了超过一千三百多种语言和文字;虽然几千年来经受了无数的攻击与挑战,但却巍然耸立、历久不衰。经上记着说:
        提摩太后书3:16-17(中文钦定本)
        16所有的经文都是神所默示的,于教训、责备、纠正、教导义都是有益的
        17叫属神的人得以完全,并预备好行各样的善工。
        一群由来自海内外各个教会的翻译同工、牧者组成的团队,在各界基督徒的协助下,历时四年,夜以继日,翻译完成了这本中文英王钦定本圣经。此项艰巨的工作始于一些国内的基督徒,在查考圣经的过程中,发现中文和合本圣经跟几百年来为属神之人所引用的英王钦定本圣经,有着许多明显的出入与差异;从而萌发了要翻译一本更贴近于钦定本圣经的感动。
        英王钦定本圣经的成书起源于1604年,一些新教的神职人员觐见英国国王詹姆士,表达了他们对圣经新译本的迫切需要。最终,教会领袖达成一致,希望得到一本面向大众,尽量减少注解的圣经译本。在之后的七年里,五十多位资深圣经学者合力完成了这本英王钦定本圣经。这本具有划时代意义的圣经译本,被称为是一本“终结了所有译本的译本。”
        在过去的百年里,中文和合本圣经一直都是中国基督教会最普遍采用的圣经,但在神的带领下,我们越发感受到必须为华人基督徒提供一本更忠实于原文的中文圣经译本的迫切需要。英王钦定本圣经对圣经的原文有着更贴近的翻译,而这正是和合本圣经所欠缺的。以下网页我们列举和合本圣经所缺少的经文
