William Branham was considered a great man when he came among the people performing 'signs and wonders' and drawing great crowds to the sponsoring churches. BUT when the Lord through His thoroughly VINDICATED servant began to "Speak The Word" and correct the error of their ways and their teaching, they turned His servant down and branded him a false prophet. They accepted the "signs and Wonders" coming through the man of God BUT when he stood with "Thus Saith The Lord" concerning church tradition and false doctrines, he was rejected. Come to think of it - They did the same to Jesus Christ in His day. After Brother Branham was taken home (December 24, 1965), the brethren in Jeffersonville, Indiana, under the direction of the late Bro. Roy Borders, started Spoken Word Publications for the sole purpose of printing the sermons of Brother Branham. This ministry continued until 1986. In 1981 Bro. Joseph Branham (Bro. Wm. Branham's youngest son) founded "The Voice Of God Recordings, Inc." and received from The William Branham Evangelistic Association the franchise rights to duplicate the taped recorded messages of the prophet. In 1986 he also assumed control of Spoken Word Publications. "The Voice Of God Recordings, Inc." was now responsible for the printing and reproduction and sale of the recorded sermons of the prophet. The printed booklets, then and now are known as "The Spoken Word" - The Word spoken by the Prophet of this age, calling the churches to repentance (Rev. 3:14-22) and finishing the Mystery of God (Rev. 10:1-7). In 1981 only 2200 English tapes were produced. As of 2001 The Voice Of God records annually provide more than 500,000 tapes and 7 million books with translations in 45 languages. The recorded sermons are also available in CD format and a Computer Message Infobase program (with text and voice). With respect we acknowledge the good work other brethren are also doing in the area of spreading the Message via the printed page, cassettes, CDs, and the new MP3 format. There is a massive quick, short work in progress, reaching out to find that last predestinated seed and prepare the Elect for the Rapture. PRAISE THE LORD!
